JR. COACH PITCH

This division is for 6 year-olds (and, if approved, 5-year olds too advanced for T-ball). All players hit pitches from a coach. Eleven players are in the field including five outfielders. No more than 13 players per team. We use a continuous batting order so all players bat.

Emphasis is on player development, teaching of basic skills and encouragement of the love of the game. In order to encourage player development and teach players how to both win and lose gracefully, we will start the game schedule with rules consistent with T-ball, but as the season progresses we will introduce the rules of the 7/8 year old Coach Pitch Division. At the end of the regular season, there will be a condensed playoff tournament.
