Coach Pitch Division

The Coach Pitch division is for 7- and 8-year olds. All players hit pitches from a coach. Eleven players are in the field including five outfielders. There are no more than 13 players per team. Basic baseball rules are used with some modifications. All players on the roster bat in the lineup. Umpires are utilized and season standings are kept. There are typically three events per week with a 15 to 18 game schedule, plus a postseason playoff in which all teams qualify.  The focus of the league is to have fun and teach the players the fundamentals of baseball in a semi-competitive environment.
