Abrasive blasting ensures any coating needs start off right with a clean slate. It is very important to properly remove all paint and surface contaminants so that the surface can absorb the coating and offer the durability of protection and prevent corrosion of your substrate. Without a proper foundation, any structure will fail. We offer in-house or onsite abrasive blasting services including ice, soda, and water blasting. Our experienced team is well trained in silica awareness and hazard prevention by maintaining up-to-date training, utilizing proper equipment, and PPE to ensure safety.

Fireproofing

IEI offers spray applied fireproofing for industrial and commercial structures and materials. We use SFRM with ALBI Clade 800. This is the environmentally preferred and most efficient method of fireproofing vs older cementitious fireproofing that is much more harmful than helpful. We offer removal of cementitious fireproofing to apply our ALBI Clade spray fireproofing for the highest quality material. To maintain safety, we do lead abatement to permanently eliminate existing lead-based paint hazards.
