13-14 YEAR OLD DIVISION

The 13- and 14-year old division uses the basic rules of middle school baseball  – including the middle school bat rules – with a few modifications targeted to more of a semi-competitive culture. Nine players are in the field defensively. There are no more than 12 players per team. All players on the roster bat in the lineup. Umpires are utilized and season standings are kept. There are typically three events per week with a 15 to 18 game schedule plus a postseason playoff in which all teams qualify. The focus of the league is to have fun and teach the players the fundamentals of baseball in a semi-competitive environment.
